Please review this document for an overview of the payment process. For mitigation projects, payment is due at the completion of the job. If insurance is involved, DAI Restore will work with the insurance carrier to approve/pay the estimate. However, the customer is responsible for their deductible, incurred costs above their coverage limits, or the full estimate if the claim is denied. The customer is also responsible for payment of any work done outside of the agreed scope with their adjuster. Depending on the insurance carrier, payment will be issued to DAI directly or will be issued to the customer with DAI listed as an additional payee. It is the responsibility of the customer to endorse and forward the payment, or deposit it into their account and write a check for the invoiced amount. If the loss/job is not covered by insurance, or the customer does not want to go through insurance, DAI requires 50% of the estimated cost at the start of the job and the remaining balance at the completion of the job.
Reconstruction
For reconstruction projects, we will provide an estimate to your insurance company, or yourself if insurance will not be involved, only after you have agreed to have DAI complete the repairs and a work authorization is signed. DAI will require a deposit of 33% – 50% prior to start, depending on size of job, from whoever is completing payment. A second 33% payment will be due midway through the project, and the final 33%-50% payment is due at the completion of the job.
DAI Restore is a local and national family owned business. We opened our doors in 2011 and have more than 50 years combined experience. We are honest, experienced and with you every step of the way.
Please note that DAI Restore works for you, not your insurance company. You are responsible for making the initial request to your insurance company. Our team will work directly with your adjuster to confirm coverage, any applicable limits, and obtain an agreed scope of work before starting the project. Throughout the project, DAI can assist you and your insurance company by providing documentation (photos, moisture readings, suspected cause of loss).
After you make the initial request with your insurance company, they may provide a list of restoration vendors to choose from. However, you can decline and contact DAI Restore to handle your loss. Contact our team at DAI Restore as soon as possible so we can help guide you along the rest of the way.
